Hello everyone To get this thing going I thought I will start with introducing myself, so the rest of you can follow and start filling this board with lots ald lots of discussions about our favourite Professor.

Anyway, my name is Paulina, I'm 25. I come from Poland, but I am currently living in Oslo, Norway. I fell in love with Professor Snape shortly after I moved here, which was about five years ago. Then I fell in love with Alan Rickman. I currently own all HP movies that came out and majority of Alan's movies. And of course all HP books

As for my other interests, I looooooooooooooveeeee The X Files and David Duchovny, since I was about 11 years old. I also run a forum about the show, if anyone is interested, just let me know, I'll send you a link. And recently I totally lost my head for David Bowie That's about it.

I came up with the idea of creating this little place after talking to lilysev on fanpop.com. I was browsing for a good SS discussion board and found none that would meet my expectations. So here it is I hope you all will have a good time here. I look forward to posting with you all! Let the obsession begin!

I started admiring Alan Rickman long ago, after I first saw "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" and fell in love with the Sheriff...it's a looooong & sad love story that's why I'll leave it for another time Then I calmed down and almost forgot about Alan until I saw Severus Snape (I don't remember in which HP movie). I should confess that Alan's performance as Snape was the only reason I watched & read all HP movies/books! That's why I use to say that the thing I love the most in Severus Snape is Alan Rickman

And I must agree with you about the Severus Snape, Alan Rickman thing. He wouldn't be who he is without Alan's face and most importantly, his voice!!!

My name is Aleysia, I'm 38 and from NC! And I'm a fan of Severus Snape and also Lucius Malfoy. But Severus I've admired since after watching the first movie. And of course Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors! I think the first movie I had watched him in was Robin Hood Prince of Theives. That has been one of my favorites until he took up the role of Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies. Of course I have seen him in Blow Dry, Quigley Down Under, Sense and Sensability, Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, Galaxy Quest, Sweeney Todd, January Man, Die Hard I and Bottle Shock.
I started reading fanfiction when the first harry potter movie started up. And I have been writing Snape fanfic for several years now. I'm currently working on a hptriangle fic that involves him.

Hi everybody! I’m Megan, 25, and from the US. I love all things Alan Rickman, but my favorite character of his (and HP) would have to be Snape. I own all the movies and books and am working on my general all-around Alan Rickman movie collection. (I’m afraid I’m a little bit addicted to the man. ) I know Paula (waves to fellow X-phile ), and am very glad to meet you Lily and Aleysia!

Okay, lets start over again.. LOL
I am Rose aka SnapesRose. Severus discovered me in 2000, when I picked up my Sons copy of GOF. At home he gave me the other 3 and I polished them down. I fell in love with Severus after reading COS, then in GoF I feared for his life. In 2001 the 1st pic of him came out and I fought agianst my fierce attraction to him. 3rd day he won and I saved every pic I then fund of his.

I write poetry, when inspired, Severus inspires me. I love my roses, plants and photography. I've even named a rose after him, for he got it for me after I had searched for the Oklahoma rose. It's very dark red at times almost black, that's why.

I live in KY, US and am 43. Any questions.. feel free

The reason I fought against my attraction to Severus is cause I tended to have lots of crushes on guys and I was concerned for my poor Hubby. But in the end, Severus won!
Now, though, I must admit I do like someone else... though he reminds me a lot of Severus, his mannerisms and such.. NCIS-Gibbs!

hello, my name is charlotte,13,im from the UK, i first read about snape ages ago, and then i watched the harry potter movies, and i loved him. i have only recently made an effort to try and find out who played snape, and now im doing all i can to gt all of his movies, but its kind of hard, most have really high ratings :( , but im doing my best

Hi there, I'm Vinnie, aka LadyNottingham (here and on FanPop), aka Delilah Kelley for all my fanfic writing. I'm 39 - glad to see that there are other people my age here. I've always considered that the HP series was not only for kids but can tell a lot to adults as well.
I live in France. I'm a complete fan of Alan Rickman and of course, Severus is my favorite character in the HP series. So dark, so complex, so multi-layered (and I'm not talking only of his clothes...). The only thing I'm sad about him is the way he dies at the end. He had to die as the perfect tragic hero but he lives on in our minds and hearts forever.
I must add that I'm a complete Slytherin - I feel it pretty much like this and I tried numerous tests, just for the fun of it, and it came out that I would have been sorted there... OMG !
I knew some of you here (Lilisev and SnapesRose) from FanPop and I'm glad to have found my way here !
